How This Works

For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.

For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.

whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com is the property of John Ondrasik and is administrated by John and the Five For Fighting management team at Jim Grant Management.

I was crying when I watched this. 2 of my friends put this link on their profiles and tod me to watch, saying it will change my life. And so it did. I grew up in a town where couples tend to have many children, so a lot of my friends have at least one sibling with autism/Asperger Syndrom, so I grew up learning about the disabilities the children face. I actually no longer think of it as a "disability." Instead, I have come to realize that though they are "different," they actually have a greater interest in the simple things we the people of the 21st century take for grantide, like the sun, the moon, the stars, the green grass, a daisy, etc. They are all loving children with a different, maybe better, perspective on life then we "normal" people do.

Thank you! With a son on the spectrum, I am so glad one of my favorite groups has made this effort to end the struggle! It brought tears to my eyes...until you are there, no one knows what it is like.

Thank you for having this site and for doing something to educate and, hopefully, prevent children in the future from becoming autistic.

My son, Evan has autism. He's 5 yrs. old and has a twin brother who has wished to play/interact with him. After therapy/early intervention/schooling...his wish has come true. The giggles, the footsteps that run amoc...is the most beautiful sound. I wouldn't change him for the world. Do I wish he could do all the things his normally developing twin brother does, of course. Does he? Maybe not. But, he has this innocence about him...a gentleness. Through acceptance and not fully understanding this world that we live in, yet...is perhaps ...better for him. Because afterall, he's happy. I as an adult and one whos developed on target, been educated to my best ability and lives a fullfilling life, will wonder/become saddened at what this world has become. He greets the sun as it rises and says good night to the moon when he lays his head on his pillow at night. He's the gift that has slowed life down a bit...a chance to notice the star that sparkles the brightest. He's my shining star...the sky's the limit for him! I'll do all I can to keep him smiling no matter what happens on this journey. - a dedicated mom

As a parent of an autistic son we know that a cure may not come easily. If we could just have acceptance for our children, and find a way to provide more services to these children. The waiting list in my community for services is over a year long. These children need OUR help in order to be able to function in society.

This disease is very close to my heart as one of my grandsons was diagnosed with autism. Intense treatment was started early into his diagnosis and Garrett is now mainstream. My prayer is that every child afflicted with this disease can benefit from treatment and that a cure is on the horizon. Thank you for this beautiful video.
