How This Works

For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.

For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.

Autism Speaks was very moving and captured some precious moments and connections. The children's smiles were so heartening and implanted hope as supportive research strives to increase these precious connections with others.

This was a wonderful video. It's great way for the children to have a voice.

Thank you so much for this touching video! I have worked with many autistic children in the past and due to being laid off the end of last year miss them terribly. I found out today that I'll be working with them again very shortly for another early intervention program. My sister sent me an email informing me about your video. A very good sign! God bless you all, especially the families and caregivers of autistic children.

I have a 6 yr. old step son who is on the spectrum.Truly I have to say he has been a challenge since the day I met his father 4 yrs. ago, but we LOVE him dearly. I hope someday people in society will see how special children on the spectrum are & work harder to find ways to detect it earlier & possibly find a cure. God bless all who have had the chance to meet an autistic child.

This video is GREAT! Never give up! My husband's son is Autistic. He is a very special part of our life. He was 4 when I met him. He did not talk or sign and his diet consisted of canned spaghetti O's,fruit loops & peanut butter sandwiches. The best is when he looks in my eyes and says I love you Marybeff. spelled as Chuck pronounces it. The other is when he wants to go in the truck with his Dad. He has come so far, we work hard with him every chance we get to. He is here with us every Wednesday and every other weekend. We have him talking, singing, laughing, joking and eating us out of house & home. Thank you - we love you Charles Foster - MaryBeth and Dad

A boy named Skylar showed me what autism is. He is 2 yrs old. I have a 15 mos old son.........needless to say how hard it hit me to play with this boy and talk to his family. My love and prayers are with him forever! There needs to be more things like this to get the word and awareness out there. God bless you all and your families. The Llama

such a touching video....i wish there was a world w/o autism & people wouldn't pass judgement. Maybe someday, there might be a cure! I have twin boys, Michael & Nicholas, age 11, and only Michael has signs of autism ....(too many autistic issues to conquer at once).. Nicholas is just a typical child...maybe science will find that it runs in a gene or chromosome that missing. Anyway, very nice video & very thoughtful! Thank you!

I have a 5yr old boy on the spectrum. I too want a world where no family has to live with autism. My son is my hero, and he has made me a better person. Thank you!!!

It is a special event when my son says "Hi Dad" without any prompting. Autistic children are very special people with incredible gifts that are hidden behind a tough outer shell. Find a way to crack open that shell and you will be amazed at what comes out. At 6 years old my son can read, write, add, subtract, multiply, divide, tell time, count change, and identify states on a map. Just this evening he learned to spell Mississippi. Holding a onversation is still tough, but we are working on it. Early Intervention is critical. It must be made available to all children. With it, we are better able to crack open that outer shell and enjoy the wonder that is inside.

A mom of a 14 year old daughter on the spectrum. Beautiful video. Thanks for touching on not judging people on the the spectrum. Awareness is needed. At her diagnosis 12 years ago, we were told to "look for somewhere to place her." We did: with us, her family.

Your video brought more than a few tears to this lady who candidly admits that her family does not have any children with autism (yet!!) I do have a daughter who has her Ph.D. in Psychology and who works with autism every day and has for more than ten years. It is incredible to me how she and others like her are able to cope with their professional environment while being normal mothers to their own children. We need more awareness or there will be a whole generation filled with AUTISM. In the United States this equates to MORE MONEY FOR RESEARCH.

That was beautiful. I have a niece who is autistic and she is so special. I can't think what life would be without her.

Wow. Made me cry. I have twin sons, 11, fertility babies. Both are on the spectrum. I wish above all that their lives could be easier. The recent attention and awareness will make great strides in helping me accomplish that. Thank You, Thank You, Five-for-Fighting. You are fighting for the right stuff!
