How This Works

For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.

For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.

whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com is the property of John Ondrasik and is administrated by John and the Five For Fighting management team at Jim Grant Management.

I long for a world that looks into the eyes of a child with autism and sees: love; possibilities and potential on the brink of being realized; us and we and not just them; a child longing to speak! Thank you Autism Speaks for giving us ears to hear!

What a wonderful song and idea! Having an autistic child only makes me realize how much love one person has to give and how many more need to give. We should all have the honor of having an autistic child, it would make the world a much better place.

Thank you for the beautiful video. I have a 6yr old boy on the spectrum and it was so lovely to see these kids doing things, positive things. I am tired of seeing all the videos that show our kids as having no lives - I wouldn't change my son for the world - we are blessed that he leads a pretty "normal" life (whatever that is,show me normal???). I hope that people will see this and remember these sites at election time - be proactive and let's get the legislation passed to help our families and children effected by Autism. God bless and may your children live in peace.

I have seen many music videos. None have touched my heart as this has. I am a mom of a son with Autism Spectrum Disorder. My son is full of innocence and wonder and so very special. Both of my sons are equally special. Only one has ASD. I am informed in the area of Autism. I am passionate about learning and educating others about Autism. As the diagnosis rates increase at staggering rates one can only hope it WILL make it in the history books. Thank you "Five For Fighting" and "Autism Speaks."

In a critical sense, this video does nothing to suggest those with autism need to be cured; rather, the need for autism to be fully understood is vital to helping those who live with autism become actively engaged with the world around them and to find peace and harmony in their existence. Finding a cure doesn't mean individuals with autism are broken and needing to be fixed; it simply means autism will no longer be a mystery that can no longer be solved. Let's remember, the effects of autism are we're looking to erradicate, not the individual themselves!

Thank you Autism Speaks for your gift of collaboration. We must remember "They are children FIRST! Children WITH autism second!"

My daughter, Lindsey, is a 15 yr. old diagnosed with PDD at age 7. Next week Lindsey will be creating autism awareness with a short presentation she is going to give during the morning live announcements at her middle school. I am looking for a video she can share during this time and I just found it!! It inspires me to witness the gifts and talents of others being used to foster a collective voice for families and individuals living with the daily challenges of Autism. Thank you for caring and empowering us all! Godspeed.

This is a wonderful video and I will pass it on to as many as possible. I am so thankful for the work and the monies raised for research. But, we need more.......we need everyone aware of what autism is and how it effects families, we need classes in each state to specifically treat these children and teachers who understand autism and its many forms. We have areas where no help is available for autistic children. They are mainstreamed or in classes where they have no specific instruction or help to develop their potential. One of my grandsons is such a child. I pray that this help is coming......

Thank you, Five for Fighting. The video moved me with tears. I a mother of a 6 year old boy with autism. Your right! To hear my son say I LOVE YOU or even MOMMY would be one of the most amazing thing my ears would ever hear. With all the other challenges that comes with ASD, I'll take every little baby step that God wants to give us! My pray is to bless all children with ASD and their families. And making awareness thanks to you for this beautiful video.

As a special needs preschool teacher and current doctoral student, I am especially touched by children with autism. I am amazed daily by these children and each small step is celebrated. Together we can "get the word out" about autism and change the lives of these children and their families. Thanks for a beautiful video!
